TEXT/TILE

TEXT/TILE is the intersection of three of my lifelong passions: typography, design, and sewing. A typographic system based on the language of quilt blocks, TEXT/TILE creates abstract compositions with embedded messages. The project was launched at Creative Mornings San Francisco, and shown in Chicago at Typeforce 11.

A TEXT/TILE mural graces the wall of the private dining room at San Francisco's Michelin-starred restaurant The Progress. The text of the mural is the Wendell Berry poem, Prayer After Eating.
